Microsoft Tag

I think that these tags are awesome. I saved my tag to display my Facebook profile page. I have seen other tags used to scan blackberry phones between users. It is just an interesting way of displaying information and a fast way to access certain urls or what ever content you find yourself with. I personally think that tags can be useful because they are simple and fast. Rather than having to log into Facebook and then logging into my account just to view my profile, I can now use a tag reader to quickly access the url of my Facebook page.

Google Tv

This new Google Tv will be a great addition to many homes worldwide. Personally, I cant wait to get one. This google powered TV does so many things. One can download apps onto it as if it were an iphone or ipod touch, you can use your android phone as a remote for the tv, and you can also browse the internet. What?!? I see this production as becoming a huge hit in the near future. This TV is also upgradable so more additions can be implemented when available, there is a DVR feature so as not to miss anything, and there is also dual view so that you can browse the internet while watching your favorite basketball game. In my opinion, the Google TV is the next big thing and to make it even better, it is very affordable and comes in about 5 different screen sizes. Dont wish to purchase a new TV? Thats fine, because they even have a set top box for your current TV that can sync with the Google TV system and allow you to enjoy it from your own TV. I rate this TV a 8.5/10. Of course, I will not know for sure until I test it out myself, but it sounds great!

DC on FB

Today I had FIT and my assignment was to play a web game on facebook.com. I found that the access part of DC was easily recognizable. Communication also played a big role as every time that i leveled up it, it wanted me to share with all of my facebook friends. After playing "The Price Is Right" and "Farmvile" i realized that the commerce part of digital citizenship played a huge part of these games as well. Every time i needed more coins to play i was ask to update my coin status using USD. I didnt like it and it made me quit playing the game. On top of that, every time i needed to plant something in farmvile, i had to pay for that too. Not a good look.
